Our CEO Steve Shrager was just a kid when he started helping out around the business his grandfather founded almost 60 years ago, and where his dad came aboard a few years later.
He worked in the washroom, he ran a delivery route, he became a district service manager. “I’ve done everything at least once,” he says.
That’s the way it is in a family business. You learn it all because eventually, it’s going to be on your shoulders and the credibility of your business is your family’s credibility as well.
Why We’re Different
At Budget Uniform Rental, that’s a big part of what makes us different. While one independent work uniform provider after another is absorbed into the big national companies, we stay focused on providing personal, high-quality service to customers who want a uniform rental company who cares as much about their business as they do.
It’s no coincidence that many of our customers are family-owned businesses as well. They know the value of having a local uniform partner whose CEO is always just a phone call away, and who still goes out on a route at least four times a year.
