Budget Uniforms are Hygienically Clean & HACCP Certified

Look for a work uniform company whose processes and uniforms adhere to third-party certified standards for cleanliness and hygiene.

Every workplace has different expectations of what “clean” means, but when it comes to a work uniform partner, you want to make sure that you’re on the same page.

So how clean is clean? The Hygienically Clean and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols provide clear and measurable benchmarks of cleanliness down to the microbial level. Developed to ensure consistent levels of cleanliness, these certifications establish standards and processes for ensuring the safe and effective removal of pathogens, with HACCP protocols specifically targeting food safety.

At Budget Uniform we’re proud of the effort that goes into achieving and maintaining such outside certifications as part of our commitment to providing the highest quality work uniform service to our customers across Southern California.

A Higher Standard of Clean

Hygienically Clean Certification, created by the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA), ensures high-quality laundering of reusable textiles and garments backed up by ongoing microbial testing as well as facility inspections. To maintain the certification, uniform providers must undergo inspection and testing of uniforms and processes, including water quality and wash chemistry, to ensure the consistent elimination of pathogens to a level that poses no risk to human health.

HACCP is an international standard for identifying and managing food safety-related risks. First developed in the 1960s by the Pillsbury company, HACCP’s original purpose was to make food for NASA space missions as safe as possible. Since then, the HACCP standard has grown to play a vital role in food industry safety practices.

For clients in food manufacturing and culinary industries, HACCP-certified garments are critical to preventing contamination and ensuring ongoing health compliance. The certification is based upon seven principles of conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points, and establishing control limits, as well as establishing monitoring, corrective, and verification procedures.
