Q: Why provide employees with uniforms?
A: Uniforms present a more professional company image. They enhance brand recognition; improve appearance, cleanliness, and fit; and help convey a sense of quality service, reliability, and accountability.
Q: What makes garment rental environmentally friendly?
A: When you rent uniforms from Budget, we launder them in less water using detergent that contains no harsh chemicals. Then we treat the waste water to remove any small (and large) particles. It's a process that's as green as we can make it, and it's much less polluting than typical consumer detergents and home washers.
Q: What's the best way to contact you with a service-related question?
A: Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., you can get a real person - not voicemail - to provide help or answer any questions. That person-to-person interaction is how we provide truly personal service. At anytime, of course, you can e-mail us at service@budget-uniform.com, and we'll get back to you right away!
Q: A lot of companies today say they're family owned and operated, but they're really not. What about Budget?
A: We really are family owned and operated and have been for 50 years, and the third generation of the family is now running the company. There aren't many companies in any industry - especially ours - that can say that. Why does it matter? Because the way we do business reflects who we are as individuals, not as employees of a large corporation, and we can make things happen - without adhering to (or hiding behind) big company "rules and regulations."
Q: How do I know that I'll get my uniforms back - reliably and without shortages or delays - every week?
A: We use a unique combination of barcode and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology that tracks every garment coming in and going out. Combined with our sorting and reporting systems, we'll know - and you can use our online resources to check on - exactly what arrived at Budget and what's been sent back to you.
Q: What's "NPE" and why should I be concerned about it?
A: NPE stands for Nonylphenol Ethoxylate, and it's almost as bad as it sounds. It's a harmful chemical that's used in some commercial laundries...but not in ours. Budget Uniform uses NPE-free detergent to clean your garments because it's safer for uniform wearers, safer for the environment, and it saves energy.
